What are the common methods of ship maintenance?
New Maintenance Methods In order to improve work efficiency, advanced ship maintenance techniques and methods have been widely adopted in recent years, mainly including: ① high-pressure water with a pressure of up to 500 kgf/cm or high-pressure water sandblasting to clean the hull and remove rust, with a rust removal speed of 2000 meters/hour; ② The hull is painted by a high-pressure airless painting method with a pressure of 200 kgf/cm, and dried by hot air if the climate is humid, spraying speed up to 4000 m/hour; ③ The hull plate is changed by segmental and piecewise prefabrication method, and the daily plate change amount of a single ship reaches 30~40 tons; ④ The diver controls hydraulic rotary brush or pneumatic rotary brush to clean or overhaul the hull underwater, so as to solve the difficulty of repairing large ships without large dock, and can be carried out simultaneously with loading and unloading of goods, so as to reduce the loss of suspension caused by docking; ⑤ Use alkaline solution to remove grease on mechanical and electrical equipment, use acidic solution to remove scale, and use neutral solution to clean electrical appliances, thus greatly improving the cleaning efficiency; ⑥ Take the method of not dismantling and transporting large parts such as crankshafts, shafting and rudder stock to the workshop and repairing them on the ship or in the dock. ⑦ Specialized repair shall be carried out for precision parts such as automation devices, governors, turbochargers, etc; ⑧ The small and medium-sized parts shall be replaced and repaired in groups, and the replaced old parts shall be repaired according to the new standard before reuse.

Marine fishing vessels are divided into coastal, offshore and ocean-going fishing vessels. How to distinguish between the three definitions
A fishing vessel is a vessel used to catch and harvest aquatic animals and plants. According to the operating waters, it is divided into marine fishing vessels and freshwater fishing vessels, and marine fishing vessels are divided into coastal, offshore and ocean-going fishing vessels. Coastal fishing vessels engaged in fishing and harvesting of aquatic animals and plants in coastal waters, such vessels having a small tonnage. Offshore fishing vessels are engaged in fishing and harvesting aquatic animals and plants close to the mainland (Bohai Sea, Yellow Sea, East China Sea, South China Sea). The tonnage of such fishing vessels is generally tens to 100 tons. Ocean-going fishing vessels are engaged in oceanic fishing production. Such fishing vessels are generally equipped with refrigerated processing equipment. The largest tonnage of fishing vessels is generally 500 tons. New vessels have thousands of tons, but they are still a few.
